𝟏𝟏 𝐌𝐞𝐢 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 | 𝐋𝐞𝐰𝐭𝐭𝐧𝐧𝐧𝐧𝐫𝐣𝐚 𝐘𝐁 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐤 𝐓𝐬. 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐚 𝐒__𝐾𝐮𝐝𝐝, 𝐓𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐧 𝐌𝐧𝐭𝐬𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧.

The visit started with YB. Datuk boarded the UMT Discovery RV Ship while being given an explanation about the ship by the Ship Captain. Next, the release of the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) Sailing Contingent was held to represent Malaysia for FISU World University Championship Densenzano, Italy which took place at the Duyong Marina & Resort pier grounds.

In the FISU World University Championship which will take place next June 4-11, UMT will send a total of 6 students as a team under the guidance of the Director of the UMT Sailing Training Center, Mohd Hafizi Said.

The Ministry of Higher Education also contributed RM10,000.00 to the UMT Sailing Team to cover expenses in Italy. Also present, Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Zamri Ibrahim, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), who functions as the Vice-Chancellor of UMT and the Principal and Senior Officers of UMT.
