Sailing Training Center (PLP), Alumni Student Affairs has organized Bidong Island Sailing Expedition 2023 (BISE 2023) for students taking the CCS3162 Advanced Sailing course on June 12 to 14, 2023. Students will sail out of the mouth of Sg. Terengganu at Duyong Marina Resort and heading to Bidong Island, which is expected to take five to six hours.
The program, which has the concept of a cruise tour, uses the Foundation 36 (F36) yacht to sail around Bidong Island to complete the practical module and course evaluation for two days. A total of 80 students will participate in this program and most of them are students from the Faculty of Maritime Studies and the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics Technology.
