UMT Sailing Training Center has started face to face (F2F) class for Sailing Competency subject with water confidence session on 21 March 2021 at UMT Sports Complex. Water confidence is compulsory for all nautical students before they start sailing practical for Basic Sailing Competency subject.

March 2, 2021 : Universiti Malaysia Terengganu's Sailing Training Center (PLP) in collaboration with AIMS Global has successfully launched the second Monsoon Cup (F36) yacht owned by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu in the waters of Pulau Duyong.
