The Residential College Representative Committee (JPKK), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and the Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Residential College Resident Council (MPKKTTF), Universiti Malaysia Perlis have visited the Consulate General of Malaysia located in Songkhla, Thailand. Also accompanying on this visit is the Principal of Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Residential College, UniMAP, Mr. Mohamad Irhamuddin bin Mansor and Director of UMT Residential College, Ts. Dr. Nik Aziz bin Nik Ali.
The visit session at the consulate was welcomed and celebrated by Mr. Sohaimi bin Ahmad as consul (administration/finance) for the Malaysian consulate in Songkhla. The session began with an introduction and a brief explanation of the consulate's functions by Mr. Sohaimi bin Ahmad and a knowledge sharing session by representatives of UMT and UniMAP. Various useful information and info were shared and continued with a question and answer session at the end of the tour.
In the afternoon, a visit to Thaksin University Songkhla Campus, Thailand was welcomed by Assistance Professor Kamaruddin, Thaksin University Malay Language lecturer. The group was given information about the university and taken on a tour around the Thaksin University area.
Hopefully the new experience gained will provide benefits and knowledge to the representatives of the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Residential College and Universiti Malaysia Perlis.
