Among the high impact programs planned Sailing Training Center is to organize a Maritime Heritage Skill course which aims to preserve the knowledge of Terengganu's traditional boat/ship making carpentry. This is the first step of our efforts by including this special course in the MNS2203 students' practice (basic sailing competence) which is guided by a traditional Duyong Island boat maker expert (pok hashim). The program starts on Sunday, April 18, 2020, which is during the practical time of Basic Sailing Competence students. If not the young people nowadays who keep this tradition then who else.
