The UMT Badminton Team is still capable of challenging and showing excellence at the Terengganu State Level Compulsory Badminton Tournament held on 9 September 2023 at the Kuala Terengganu State Stadium. The UMT Badminton team successfully brought home 3 bronze medals through the men's doubles, women's doubles and women's singles events. Mr. Mohd Fadzli bin Badaudin was also selected as the coach of Terengganu state badminton team for the national level Compulsory Championship which will be held on 19-21 October 2023 in Kelantan.
