MUDAPRENEUR@HE COMPETITION FINAL LEVEL

MUDApreneuer@HE Witnessing the victory of Abdullah Harith bin Mohd Kamal Hasan Wong successfully won third place (3) in the Mudapreneur@HE Program Final Stage of the Service and Product Cluster category. Even without a partner, the solo presentation managed to win the hearts of the judges with the idea of establishing a company named Lepak Port with his mentor Dr. Mohd Shaari bin Abd Rahman.

Lepak Port is a type of service business that highlights 'food court style'. The concept of managing a successful sales stall helps more student entrepreneurs in venturing into the field of entrepreneurship, especially in the food and beverage category. This business-to-business (B2B) system attracted the interest of the jury and subsequently named Lepak Port as the third place in the competition. Four (4) other groups such as Tyha_Scarf mentor Dr. Mohd Pirdaus Yusof, The Time with his mentor Puan Norlidawahi Wahab, Millinium Cookies with Mr. Affifuddin Pi Remli and Teddy de'Bouquet with Mr. Mohd Ruhaifi Alias also deserve an award, but fortune was not on their side.

For them, victory is not a bet, but the experience and knowledge gained in making the project a success. Don't be afraid to make mistakes because mistakes add experience and experience reduces mistakes. A total of 13 other companies have lined up to present their Business Companies which are the participation from the group of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Pahang and the host Universiti Teknikal Malaysia. The MUDApreneur@HE program has had four (4) phases that started last year 2019 and culminated in the final stage of Mudapreneur@HE, which was held on 01 October 2020. Evaluation from four (4) judges namely Puan Khairiyah binti Jaafar, representative of SME Corp Malaysia Melaka Branch, Mr. Shahrizan bin Abd Latif, director of Head-pitching Campus and Mr. Andrewa Wong, CEO/ Founder of MAD Incubator. Congratulations and well done to all the participants who made it to the finals. If the mentality is as high as the sky, not winning is not decisive, admitting defeat is the shame.
