'SCOD' OPENS OPPORTUNITIES TO UMT CITIZENS TO EXERCISE

UMT 'Sports Complex Open Day' is the first program held by the Sports and Recreation Division, Holistic Development Center and HEPA Co-Curriculum which aims to provide opportunities and space for UMT citizens to do sports or leisure freely (according to their own time) without having to make reservation at Tengku Muhammad Ismail Sports Complex, UMT.

This program will take place throughout the year which is on Thursdays, the 4th week of every month starting at 8.30 am until 4.30 pm. Last March 25, 2021, this program received a very encouraging response with about 300 UMT citizens filling the entire sports complex for recreation and sports. All sports facilities are open for use according to the SOP that has been set.

In addition, BSR also provides some basic sports equipment such as shuttlecock, ball, archery bow, bowl lawnbowl, squash racket and several other sports equipment. BSR also opened several additional services such as massage and sports rehabilitation services and 'fitness testing' better known as the 'Lets Fit Together' program. In addition, each sports coordinator is also available at the sports venues to monitor and give instruction related to the sport, which consists of all BSR staff. On behalf of BSR, we invite all UMT citizens who are able to participate in this program.
