Kuala Lumpur – 21 September 2023 | Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) has officially established an understanding with Yayasan Diraja Sultan Mizan (YDSM) and Yayasan Telekom Malaysia (YTM) in implementing the Terengganu Digital Entrepreneur Graduate Program (SISDIT) which was created for the first time.
Through the interweaving understanding during these 5 years, the selected UMT students will be recognized as Digital Entrepreneurs with structured and strategic guidance according to the dynamic digital development by the training provider which is Multimedia University (MMU).
Witnessed by His Royal Highness Al-Wathiqu BIllah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi BIllah Shah, Sultan of Terengganu as Chairman of the Sultan Mizan Royal Foundation, this memorandum of understanding was signed by five (5) parties involved, namely the Sultan Mizan Royal Foundation (YDSM) ), Telekom Malaysia Foundation (YTM), Multimedia University (MMU), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).
UMT was represented by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Dr. Mazlan Abd Ghaffar, FASc. as well as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student & Alumni Affairs), YBrs. Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Izani Mohd Zain signed the document and the ceremony was also attended by members of UMT's Main and Senior Management.
