UMT, Kuala Nerus: Results reports and a good working network with the main players in the national sports industry, the Sports and Recreation Division (BSR), the Holistic and Co-Curriculum Development Center, HEPA has made UMT the first IPT to successfully grab the stars of the current national soccer squad to make the Webinar a success UMT Sports Series I, 2021 titled GOAL: ONE GOAL. The stars are Mohamad Aidil Zafuan Abd Radzak (Johor Darul Ta'zim FC), Mohamad Zaquan Adha Abd Radzak (Negeri Sembilan FC), Mahalli Jasuli (Petaling Jaya FC) and Mohd Nafuzi Mahammad Zain (Terengganu FC).
All of these special invitation panels are no stranger to the national sports scene, especially football because they often grace the chest of print media, electronic media and commercial advertisements after creating a phenomenon since the 1997 Youth World Cup in Kuala Lumpur until the glory days of the Harimau Malaya squad ending the drought 20 years of the 2009 Sea Games gold medal in Vientiane, Laos and becoming a champion for the first time at the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Webinars that have been broadcast live through the application Facebook This received a favorable response from all corners of the country. Various topics that have been discussed and shared for UMT members include fitness, team leadership, sports psychology during tournaments, coaching and the consistency factor of athletes practiced throughout the period of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as their life experiences that have resulted in success to this day.
"The entrusted responsibility is a big element to be shouldered by everyone and for UMT students, there is no easy way for us to achieve success unless we sacrifice time and energy to achieve our respective goals" said Aidil and Zaquan who are also captains Harimau Malaya squad team.
This high-impact program is one of the efforts BSR fully supports UMT Strategic Plan 2018-2022 which specifically includes Core 1: Talent Empowerment, Core 3: Student Development and Core 8: Strengthening Image.
