HEPA CITIZENS WIN VICE CHANCELLOR'S AWARD
02 November 2020 : Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) held the 2019 Vice Chancellor's Special Awards Ceremony held at the Mahyuddin Auditorium, Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Development (FPEPS). The organization of this event full of history is an award of appreciation from the Vice Chancellor to all UMT staff who have provided excellent service whether in terms of personality, spirituality and body throughout the past year 2019. This award covers various aspects and layers of grade levels and positions including academics and non-academics.
Not to be left behind in the acceptance of the award are the citizens of HEPA, UMT. Among the recipients who have been recognized in this event full of excitement is Mr. Zainudin bin Mamat (Head of the Student Affairs Department), Dr. Izan binti Dato' Haji Jaafar (Deputy Director of the Center for Holistic and Co-Curriculum Development), Ts. Dr. Nik Aziz bin Nik Ali (Director of Residential College) and Mr. Zolarman bin Muhamad (Alumni Center Senior Assistant Registrar). Hopefully with the acceptance of this award it can encourage us all to continue to serve more brilliantly and show commitment continuously within the Department/University. We all HEPA citizens would like to say Well done and congratulations to all recipients for being selected as recipients of the 2019 Vice Chancellor's Special Award.

HEPA CHAMPION OF MERDEKA HAPPY OFFICE COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 63rd NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION OF UNIVERSITIES OF MALAYSIA TERENGGANU 2020
CELEBRATION of the 63rd National Day at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) level in 2020 was celebrated by holding various interesting and patriotic programs/activities. The spirit of love for the country can be indirectly absorbed to all the staff at the Responsibility Center through programs like this. One of the special programs that have been organized by the UMT Management is the Merdeka Cheerful Office Competition at the university level.
This kind of program is held every year and it is welcomed by all the staff representing their respective departments. The Office of the Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) is one of the PTj that participated in the competition. All the staff involved gave a high commitment with full enthusiasm and together decorated the office space. This attitude of tolerance and cooperation should be praised and emulated by other friends inside and outside PTj. Usually two things are done during the competition which is to decorate the Malaysian Flag and display appropriate pictures in various spaces and corners selected to express love and concern for the beloved country "Malaysia".
This historic competition was held from 03 September 2020 until 14 September 2020. During the period the competition was held, all PTj involved were given the time and opportunity to decorate their respective office spaces according to their own taste and creativity independently. This time HEPA has built a sculpture that is a symbol of pride for the people of Terengganu, the "Drawbridge Sculpture". The construction of the sculpture and other exhibits that are available have attracted the Jury who made a judgment on September 14, 2020 and subsequently the HEPA Office has been crowned as 2020 CHEERFUL OFFICE COMPETITION CHAMPION UMT level.
Thanks Alhamdulillah. Congratulations to all HEPA citizens for their high support and cooperation and this department will continue to participate in competitions like this as a way for its citizens to appreciate and appreciate the meaning of the country's independence through elements of cheerfulness throughout the national month. In addition, the cooperation shown contributes to the smoothness and success of the program which simultaneously aims to strengthen the national spirit in the souls and souls of all staff.
