UMT success at NMEPC 2022!

UMT through its Papaya BBQ Sauce product has won the Consolation Award for the Food & Beverage category in the National Micro Enterprise Pitching Competition (NMEPC 2022) organized by KPT in collaboration with UTem located in Melaka today.

Papaya BBQ Sauce innovation product is an innovation produced by 3 UMT students together with Dr. Yusnita Hamzah (SM Food Science Program (Food Service)) as a mentor from FPSM. Their products have won the Consolation award among 11 other groups participating in the F&B category in NMEPC 2022.

UMT has sent 2 products to participate in NMEPC 2022, one in the F&B category and the other in the Service category. For the Service category, UMT was represented by the GradMart One Stop Center product as a result of innovation from 3 FTKKI students and Miss Zainabbeevi Kamalbatcha from PPAL as a mentor.
