HEPA Image Council with Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs)

08 April 2021: The HEPA Image Ceremony with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) took place successfully at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Library Auditorium (PSNZ), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). The organization of this historic event is one of the best ways to strengthen the relationship of unity and friendship among the staff in the relevant department. The main event in organizing the event was the mandate session and the presentation of the department's achievements in facing the challenges of 2020 and HEPA planning for 2021. This session was delivered perfectly by YBhg. Associate Professor Dr. Hafiz bin Zakariya (TNC-HEPA), UMT.
In a speech session full of confidence and enthusiasm, he outlined the application of the concept of empathy, principles of transparency, accountability, integrity and good governance among HEPA citizens able to form a solid foundation for the authority of this department to continue to be trusted and always relevant. He advised that all citizens should always adhere to the values of integrity and high work ethics in order to realize the student development agenda at the university. The achievements and excellence of this department need to be continuously driven towards achieving the goals of the UMT Strategic Plan (PSUMT) as stipulated.
In order to achieve success in all the activities that have been planned, all existing Centers are encouraged to cooperate more closely in provide excellent service to students to help the agenda of welfare, holistic development, character building and students' skills. Strengthening the potential of students through training, leadership and volunteering can produce dynamic, professional and trained human capital. Conducive and safe placement of students and followed by continuous Alumni involvement is the main catalyst for the excellence of trained human resources in the future.
At the event, Certificates of Appreciation were given to all officers frontliner who are directly and indirectly involved in managing students during the Covid-19 epidemic that hit the country. Additionally, HEPA Tubes For Frontliners was also launched to help the frontline who are on duty in the state and the proceeds of the donation will be channeled to the personnel involved through the Seberang Takir Health Clinic, Kuala Nerus. At the end of the ceremony YBhg. TNC-HEPA calls on all its citizens to be able to join hands and always give a high commitment to boost the success and performance of HEPA to a more excellent level. The celebration and organization of this kind of event should continue in the future for the sake of the UMT badge on the chest.
