Introduction of Culture And Arts Center
This center is responsible for coordinating the cultural and artistic activities of students. There are cultural and arts clubs under the umbrella of this center and various activities have been and will be carried out.
The activities carried out are organized and managed by the students themselves while the Cultural and Arts Center is responsible for coordinating and providing advice on the programs carried out.

As a center for learning and knowledge development, the university is seen to be growing in various fields, whether in the academic field or the activities of its students and staff. The activities carried out, especially those involving arts and culture activities, have received encouraging and encouraging responses from the university community. More and more students are participating in every activity that is carried out in the campus and it helps the development of the minds of these students to continue empowering art and culture to a higher level in addition to instilling good values into the students. Our motto "THE ART OF MIND CONTAINER".

Function chart and implementation tasks
Management Section
- Ensure that management and financial affairs can be planned and implemented well.
- Carrying out the purchase of assets, office stock and inventory.
- Plan and coordinate financial affairs according to established procedures.
- Prepare official reports related to culture and arts for JKP HEPA Meeting, PBS Management Meeting, HEPA Monthly Report, UMT Annual Report, MAKUM Meeting
- Planning, implementing and coordinating the Management of Scheduled Events and Special Events of the Culture and Arts Division.
- Prepare an annual calendar.
- Plan and implement the production of performances and events.
- Coordinate concept and protocol management
- Manage and coordinate 14 Art and Culture student clubs namely AKASIA.
- Provide advisory services to student clubs in the field of organizational management and program organization.
- Monitor the activities and implementation of the activities of the clubs under the auspices of AKASIA.
- Provide student empowerment programs.
- Coordinate ISO and audit documentation.
Development, Conservation & Infrastructure Section
- Plan, implement and coordinate programs for the development of noble values and community service in efforts to conserve and maintain heritage.
- Conduct and hold courses, workshops and seminars.
- Collect data and art and culture materials for documentation and exhibition purposes.
- Conduct research studies with government and private agencies.
- Maintain and raise the dignity of Malay literature by holding related workshops and competitions.
- Record, save and maintain a collection of photos related to art and cultural activities
- Store old/classic musical equipment, props and accessories for reference.
- Ensuring that all equipment, assets & inventory are in good condition and safe and ready for use.
- Manage the booking schedule for 7 training studios and 150 musical instruments for the use of UMT residents.
- Ensure safety and comfort in training rooms. Estimated total annual usage is 10,000 – 15,000 people.
- Prepare equipment and training space damage reports for improvement and maintenance purposes.
Technical, Operational and Artistic Management Section
- Provide broadcasting services for small-scale student programs.
- Coordinate every activity or program related to technical requirements such as lights, props and so on.
- Provide advice and consultation services related to technical requirements for official university programs such as Convocation Ceremony, Dinner Ceremony, Convo Party, Annual Awards Ceremony and so on.
- Providing space and opportunities for UMT residents, especially students, to explore a variety of knowledge in the fields of journalism, broadcasting and hosting in a professional manner.
- As a learning medium for courses related to language, broadcasting, journalism and communication.
- Improving soft skills and providing added value (soft skills) among UMT students who are involved as UMT.fm radio presenters.
- Ensuring that campus fm radio operates maximally from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm by presenting interesting segments.
