DRESS AND HAIR GUIDELINES
All UMT students are required to dress in accordance with the normal practices of Malaysian society and as future scientists and national thinkers, students should always practice clean, neat and polite clothing throughout their time on campus. The following are the Guidelines for Student Use that have been set by the authorities of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu when all students have been given permission to attend and be on the UMT campus:

Setiap Pelajar
Menghadiri majlis rasmi atau urusan rasmi Universiti
Peraturan pakaian semasa menghadiri kuliah/ peperiksaan
Peraturan pakaian semasa menghadiri aktiviti makmal, sukan, kebudayaan atau aktiviti lain pelajar
Peraturan pakaian khusus untuk pelajar lelaki dan perempuan
Seorang pelajar lelaki;
Seorang pelajar perempuan;
Rambut semasa menghadiri kuliah
Penguatkuasaan
Semua staf UMT adalah pihak penguatkuasa kepada peraturan ini dan boleh membuat teguran secara terus kepada mana-mana pelajar atau melaksanakan tindakan sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan di dalam peraturan ini.
Pengawal Keselamatan Universiti hendaklah;
Pegawai-pegawai di Pejabat Timbalan Naib Canselor (Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Alumni) boleh menasihati atau memberi kaunseling kepada pelajar yang telah didapati melanggar mana-mana peraturan-peraturan ini.

University Health Center Services
The following is a list of the types of health care and services operated by the UMT Health Center:
- Examining and providing perfect treatment for emergency cases and outpatients based on disease diagnosis.
- Provide health screening services to students, staff and the public.
- Provide dental examination services.
- Assess the patient's condition to be referred to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) or a specialist if it is thought necessary to receive further treatment.
- Perform minor surgery such as incision of boils, suturing wounds, opening sutures, washing wounds and so on.
- Monitor blood sugar.
- Make a urine test (pregnant).
- Make a urine test for diagnosis.
- Making 'Ear mopping' for blocked ears.
- Health Education to students either directly or indirectly such as posters, pamphlets and so on.
- Organize a blood donation program with Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ).
- Involved in student activities that require health programs such as Merdeka Kayak, Konvo Fest Run, student skill programs and so on.
- Providing emergency treatment chest facilities to departments and student associations in need.
sports and Recreation
UMT provides several fields and courts for various sports that students can participate in such as football, tennis, volleyball, rugby, badminton, hockey, scuba and water recreation. UMT also has a complete sports complex and students are encouraged to bring their own sports equipment. If you are an athlete and are still actively involved in related sports, please contact the UMT Sports and Recreation Center.
