KP PSR OFFICIAL SAFE SPORTS CODE ADVOCACY PROGRAM EASTERN ZONE LEVEL 2023

The Safe Sports Code Advocacy Program organized by the Terengganu State Youth and Sports Department (JBSNT) at the East Zone level is the first Safe Sports program held at UMT and was officiated by the Head of the Sports and Recreation Center, Puan Siti Noriam binti Yaakob.
The Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has introduced the Safe Sports Code guidelines in March 2023 to increase the awareness of sports participants about the importance of maintaining everyone's behavior and responsibility towards all sports activities.
The talk program this time was delivered by Mr. Ezzad bin Abdullah, Chief Assistant Secretary of the Policy and Strategic Planning Division, Ministry of Youth and Sports and also attended by Mr. Mohd Qayyum bin Rahman, Deputy Director of Sports of the Terengganu State Youth and Sports Department.
This safe sports awareness tour program has taken place throughout the country since the beginning of the year and UMT is one of the venues to gather sports enthusiasts from all over the East Coast for this program. A total of 200 participants were involved consisting of athletes, coaches, officials and sports enthusiasts around the east coast including UMT and UniSZA students.
