Student accommodation at the Residential College for the admission of students with special needs has been managed by the Residential College in collaboration with the University Security and Health Center and iCreate from 1-8 March 2021. Throughout this period, students are allowed to enter in phases to enable all students to undergo the isolation process in the accommodation room provided in compliance with the prescribed SOP.
Starting with the determination of students in need by the faculty, the information is then passed on to the Residential college to enable each student to be generated in the e2kc system. Students who agree with e2kc generation will plan their return trip to campus and pass security screening at the main entrance, risk screening by PKU in the Sultan Mizan Hall Foyer and then be allowed to the Residential College to undergo a 10-day isolation process at the Residential College . Entry to the Residential College is by drive-thru and keys are handed over in compliance with the SOP and recommended social distancing. Throughout the isolation period, students using the i-deliveryUMT application provided by i-Create have been assisted by volunteers for food supplies, daily needs and assistance from time to time. The PKU also monitors the health level of students through filling in My3k which is updated by students every day. Students with symptoms will be treated by PKU or the nearest Health Office.
