GRADUATION SESSION, COLLECTION AND RETURN OF CONVOCATION DRESS SETS

GRADUATION DRESS
GRADUATE NAME CALLING CARD
Each graduate will be given one (1) piece of Graduate Name Calling Card during the academic dress collection session. The card must be brought along during the convocation ceremony. This card is used to call the name of the graduate and display the name on the screen in the hall. If the graduate fails to bring the card, the graduate's name will not be mentioned when the graduate goes on stage.
GRADUATION FEE
All graduates, whether attending the convocation ceremony or not, must pay the graduation fee according to the following rates :-
2015/2016 SESSION ADMISSION STUDENTS AND BELOW
i. Diploma: RM110.00
i. Bachelor : RM150.00
iii. Masters/Doctor of Philosophy : RM120.00
STUDENTS ADMISSION SESSION 2016/2017 AND ABOVE
i. Diploma: RM60.00
i. Bachelor: RM100.00
iii. Masters/Doctor of Philosophy : RM120.00
** According to the Treasurer's Circular Letter No. 5 of 2018, restrictions from participating in the convocation ceremony will be imposed on students who have tuition fee arrears.
A. GRADUATION FEE PAYMENT METHOD
i. Payment of the graduation fee can be made directly after completing the online registration of academic dress collection using the UMT payment gateway platform in the eKonvo system (MyNemo>Akademik>eKonvo);

RECOVERY OF THE SCROLL
i. Scrolls can be picked up once the complete set of academic clothes is returned and all debts with UMT are cleared;
i. Graduates who are in debt to UMT must show the slip of graduation fee/debt/fine/summons/collateral loan of academic clothing stating that the debt has been settled in order to obtain transcripts and scrolls;
iii. Please show the Scroll Collection Slip when collecting transcripts and scrolls;
iv. Graduates can apply for an early claim for the collection of transcripts and scrolls before the convocation ceremony by making an application via e-mail akademik@umt.edu.my;
Convocation Picture Package
The selection of the convocation photo package (photography session) can be done in the e-Konvo module. Details of rates and types of packages can be contacted directly with the supplier. Graduate photo package link:
WARNING
i. Private photographers are not allowed to enter Sultan Mizan Hall.
i. Graduates are not allowed to take selfies while receiving their degrees on stage.
