UMT-June 17, 2020.- The Entrepreneurship and Career Center (CEC) in collaboration with industry players namely Syarikat Ledakan Digital has held an E-Commerce program
Entrepreneurship Incubator Program (EEIP) 2.0. The Covid 19 pandemic hit Malaysia on 18 March 2020 and immediately the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented.
The implementation of the MCO announced by YAB the Prime Minister of Malaysia has caused this EEIP program to be implemented online for Module 3. However, has the objective for module 3 been achieved? The objective of EEIP 2.0 Module 3 (Apps Development) is to train UMT students through theory and practical to develop E-Commerce applications for mobile phone platforms and be competitive in applying technology in the field of business.
The answer is yes, the objectives of the program can be achieved even with the new norms. Module 3 was held through the zoom application and after that the participants were given a task to develop an application within the set time. According to Mr. Hazrul, one of the instructors for this EEIP Program said "through the 'Zoom' application, students are more confident to ask questions, otherwise, students only need to ask questions without shame, maybe students are embarrassed to ask in class".

He added that the teaching staff should be prepared for any question asked by the participants. A total of 50 participants have participated in this program.
