A special program of the Faculty of Marine Engineering Technology and Informatics (FTKKI) titled UMT Alumni Talk Program Digital Entrepreneurs Start at the University was held on 13 June 2022 at Syed Jalaluddin Hall (DSJ).

Guest speaker Mr. Ridhwan Musa is an alumni from the Software Engineering Department who graduated in 2009. He is an alumni who was serious about business while still at university. He shared his valuable experience of how he started a business from the bottom at the University until he successfully built his business legacy with his friends, Syarikat Internet Ledakan Digital Sdn. Bhd. What is interesting is that he is the result of the upbringing of Dr Noor Azliza, the moderator for the program.

He is also a registered trainee from Shopee University known as ShopeeXpert. ShopeeXpert is a special program from Shopee to find trusted trainers to teach Shopee knowledge to entrepreneurs out there. He said that out of the thousands who registered, only 0.6% successfully graduated from the program.

It is hoped that his sharing and experience with the younger siblings at FTKKI will inspire them to start venturing into the field of business at the University and then become entrepreneurs as their preferred career.
